We learned a lot fonxiling around the field!
Before getting started, it was important to make sure the drone was in an open space with nothing overhead – branches and powerlines are not friendly!
We set up out in a field and I pulled the two joysticks in and down together to start the drone. Using the left thumbstick, I raised the drone a few feet into the air and let it hover for minute to ensure all was running properly. After that, I raised it higher and practiced rotations, straight lines and banking by using the left and right joysticks simultaneously!
I’m definitely looking forward to the next drone session… and recording something fun!
